The Story Behind Our Name: Perdigon

 

The name "Perdigon" is inspired by a piece of equipment critical to Erik's other passion: fly fishing. A Perdigon fly is a small, heavily weighted nymph developed by European anglers to fish fast-moving, high-pressure waters. Due to its streamlined, heavy design, a Perdigon fly sinks quickly and precisely, reaching the bottom feeding zone where the biggest fish live—a zone other anglers struggle to present a clean fly to.

This precise and effective technique became the perfect analogy for our mission in IT: Just as a Perdigon fly gets deep into the fastest water where other anglers miss the fish, Perdigon Group dives deep into a customer's IT environment where other technology advisors miss the critical insights.
